Strengthen the quality of pre-service teacher training at the University of Rwanda’s College of Education, the apex institution responsible for the training and certification of all secondary teachers in Rwanda.

Provide training in school leadership, peer coaching, and mentoring in Rwanda to head teachers, deputy head teachers, sector education officers and district directors of education, school-based mentors, and department heads in mathematics and science.

Enable 500 qualified, yet economically disadvantaged African students to complete a master’s-level education in mathematical sciences.
Increase the profile of STEM education and research and create an enabling policy environment through its prioritization across the continent via capacity support to the Secretariat.
Expand the Foundation’s network of partners committed to achieving its vision of education as a catalyst for social and economic transformation.
Improve the quality of secondary-level teaching in science and mathematics.
