Symposium on Financial Inclusion 2014 Report

The 2014 MasterCard Foundation Symposium on Financial Inclusion explored the theme of Clients at the Centre by focusing on the Client Journey. The Foundation, along with our partners at the Boulder Institute of Microfinance, wanted to increase awareness of how the most economically disadvantaged clients experience financial products and services. We looked at this continuum of experiences, from the first time that clients hear about a product or service to the point where they become regular users. The result was to advance thinking about how to improve what is being offered.
