Partnership Focus

Ghana Remote and Online Work (GROW) is aligned with the Foundation’s innovation strategy and is designed to identify the most effective and efficient ways to unlock opportunity in the remote-work ecosystem and create 250,000 high-paying jobs for Ghanaian youth by 2030. The program will expand Ghanaian young people’s access to remote work opportunities they might not otherwise have had access to and provide them with the skills necessary to participate effectively.

By working with existing organisations in the space and connecting them to larger international players, the GROW program will strengthen organizational effectiveness of these companies and further enhance the wider digital ecosystem for remote work in Ghana. This focus on skills development is closely linked to the first part of the Foundation’s charitable purpose, which is a focus on education.

In Partnership With

Generation is a global non-profit with a mission to transform education to employment systems to prepare, place, and support people in life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible to them. Generation successfully does this by training and placing disconnected youth and mid-career learners into over 40 professions across tech, healthcare, customer service, and skilled trades. To date, Generation has supported over 68,000 graduates, at an 81 percent job placement rate, and 64 percent continue to be employed one year later. They work across sixteen countries and over 280 cities, and graduates typically earn three-to-four times more than their income prior to Generation’s intervention.
