Reflections on a Decade of Impact

Since launching in 2012, the Scholar Program has grown to become one of the largest scholarship initiatives of its kind in Africa working with more than 40 partners global partners and enabling nearly 40,000 young people to pursue secondary or tertiary education and gain the skills they to become the next generation of transformative African leaders.

To celebrate the decennial, we are hosting a series of virtual events designed to inform and inspire. To kickoff Scholars@10: A Decade of Transformative Impact and Learnings our first event, invites Scholars, alumni, and partners to share their reflections, achievements, and lessons. Hosted by Scholar alum Elma Akob, speakers include two of our longstanding program partners Patrick Awuah, Ashesi University, and Martha Muhwezi, the Executive Director of FAWE. Rounding out this fireside chat is alumni Victorine Vondee and Hero-Godsway Zilevu who will share their journey of impact.
