Youth in Animation and Post-Production Initiative (YAPPI)
Target Impact
Create a new ecosystem of digital creatives that will catalyse changes across multiple levels. 60,000 young people, mainly women, will be trained, tooled, and upskilled in multiple disciplines across the 3D animation and post-production industry. Youth from low-income communities will be targeted, reached, and incentivised to participate in this hands-on skills acquisition program, which will be a medium to pull them out of poverty and ultimately place about 45,000 Youth in Work.
