When you become a Mastercard Foundation Scholar, you are joining a network of young people embarking on a journey toward inclusive and equitable socio-economic change in Africa. Through our global network of partner universities, we have committed over 45,000 scholarships, with a vision to empower 100,000 young minds by 2030.
When applying for a scholarship, applications are submitted directly to our partner universities. So, we asked our partners the questions we receive the most about applying for a scholarship. We invited 18 Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program tertiary partners to share their insights and expert responses and curated into a series called Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program Application Tips. This series provides invaluable tips on crafting a strong application, gives insights into what to do and what not to do and will equip you with the tools to make your application stand out. These firsthand tips will help you become better prepared to take the next step in your educational journey.
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program extends its best wishes as you embark on your pursuit of quality education and transformative leadership. Your journey starts here.
