The organization was established in April 2015 with the objective of preventing violence against children and young people in the East African region, encompassing Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Ethiopia. CRVPF achieved this through grant-making and developing community-based organizations’ capacity, enabling them to effectively implement violence prevention initiatives and sustain these interventions beyond a program’s duration.
