Del-York Youth in Animation and Post-Production Initiative (YAPPI) ​

Target Impact

Create a new ecosystem of digital creatives that will catalyze changes across multiple levels. 60,000 young people, mainly women, will be trained, tooled and upskilled in the multiple disciplines across the 3D animation and post-production industry. Youth from low-income communities will be targeted, reached, and incentivized to participate in this hands-on skills acquisition program which will be a medium to pull them out of poverty.

Training and capacity building of Nigerian youth (at least 55 percent women) in the multiple disciples of 3D animation and post-production.​

Promote penetration and adoption of digital solutions for enhanced learning, productivity, and market access.​

Instill creative economy-relevant skills to enable young participants to thrive (3D animation and post-production skills are useful for jobs in and outside core creative sectors).​
