Partnership Focus
Objectives of the program include:
To train young people in design thinking to encourage and support innovation.
To empower young people to create opportunities for themselves and others in their communities by creating solutions out of the skills they have learned.
To promote social inclusion and address societal challenges, such as attitude change among parents and minors towards gifts and talent, and how this can impact the creation of new opportunities.
Activities in the program include:
Talent identification: Conducting assessments to identify participants’ gifts and talents.
Skill acquisition: Providing them with knowledge of design thinking and how their gifts and talents can be used to create opportunities.
Social inclusion: Ensuring equal access to education and training for marginalized groups, including girls and young people with disabilities.
Community engagement: Collaborating with local stakeholders to address social issues such as inequality in education, gender equality, decent work and economic growth.
The program is open to young people aged between 12 and 19 years old and is operating in Kiambu County.

Soma Siri Afrika is a premier Afrocentric innovators incubator for kids aged three to 18 years. It is a team of educationists and psychologists who are passionate about the use of Siri as an intervention to unlock the innate potential to drive social change. At Soma Siri Afrika, instead of solely concentrating on IQ training like traditional skills, they prioritize nurturing a child’s gifts and talent using their gifts – tailoring their approach to cater to individual strengths.
