Tina Muparadzi

Executive Director, Education and Transitions

Tina has more than 25 years of experience across diverse multinational companies in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Until her appointment, she was with the African Development Bank based in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Prior to that she was with Safaricom, the leading telecom operator in Kenya, working on their learning strategies and other HR key performance levers.  She has also served in multiple other senior HR roles, including: HR Director for Airtel Ghana; VP Talent Development and Engagement for Airtel Africa; Business Partner to the CEO for Anglophone Operations for Airtel Africa; Director for Zain Academy covering Africa and Middle East Operations (Bahrain); and Group HR Director for Celtel in the Netherlands among other positions.

An international HR business leader, Tina believes the key to success for any individual is not only hard work and competence but the ability to learn continuously, ethical conduct, and having high standards of operational excellence. She believes that organizations that thrive have a cohesive leadership and thus spend enough time and money developing their leaders.

Tina is the recipient of multiple awards, including being named as one of the 100 most influential HR professionals by CHRO Asia, an international award organization that recognizes leadership and impact across organizational functions.

Tina is Zimbabwean and holds a doctorate degree from the Swiss Business School (Switzerland); Master’s degrees from HEC School of Management in France (MSc in Coaching and Consulting for Change) and the University of Bristol in the UK (MSc in Organisational Psychology) and a BSc (Honours) Psychology from the University of Zimbabwe.
