2025 Africa Health Collaborative Convening
From Potential to Impact: Advancing Africa’s Health Workforce and Innovation Ecosystems
October 20 - 24, 2025 Kigali, Rwanda
A milestone event bringing together our nine implementing partners and key stakeholders across Africa’s health ecosystem.
This gathering, hosted by African Leadership University (ALU) is designed to reflect on progress, share strategic insights, and collaboratively define the next phase of the Collaborative's impact. This year's theme, "From Potential to Impact: Advancing Africa’s Health Workforce and Innovation Ecosystems," directly addresses the Foundation's commitment to youth employment and systems strengthening.
The Convening brings together leaders and innovators from government, academia, civil society, and the private sector to explore practical solutions for strengthening primary health care systems. The discussions will focus on accelerating the AHC's vision to train 30,000 health professionals and support 5,000 youth-led health ventures, ensuring that policy and investment follow African-led, homegrown solutions.
