Founded in 1976 by the Chiefs of Saskatchewan, The Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) is Canada’s largest Indigenous-governed, credit-granting post-secondary institution.

SIIT supports learners from across Canada, offering programs that respond to community priorities, industry needs, and real-world career opportunities.
Based in Saskatchewan, a central province with a strong resource, advanced manufacturing, and skilled-trades economy, SIIT combines cultural grounding with hands-on, workforce-focused education. Programs span Health & Community, Business & Technology, and Trades & Industrial sectors, including training that prepares students for technical, safety-critical, and emerging careers.
SIIT operates a network of campuses, training sites, mobile units, and in-community programs, supporting First Nations and communities across Saskatchewan by making education accessible, culturally relevant, and responsive to labour-market needs.
SIIT is a Mastercard Foundation Fellows Program partner and will host the inaugural cohort of Fellows, providing culturally grounded support and connecting them with mentorship, training and leadership development opportunities.
