Technology solutions for e-schools (CSTS)
Cyber School Technology Solutions is a leading provider of quality educational services, working with experienced educators and technocrats around the world to design and develop digital education systems to improve communication and facilitate access to curriculum-specific science and math lessons. In partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, Cyber School Technology Solutions is implementing an e-learning program to improve young people's access to quality, relevant education.
Uganda's eLearning initiative for educational institutions
Contract duration: 5 years (November 2021 - October 2026)
CSTS, under the aegis of Young Africa Works, is supporting 20 educational institutions such as FinnChurch Aid for Refugees, Arua Techinical Institute, Nkumba University, Ave Maria Vocational Training & Youth Development center, MAT ABACUS Business School, among others, to implement the eLearning initiative and technical skills curriculum. Thanks to this initiative, young people, refugees and those from low-income households will have access to quality, relevant education and will be equipped with employability and work-readiness skills.
Services targeting young people :
- Learners acquire skills on how to use digital tools effectively.
- Young entrepreneurs have access to an e-learning management system (LMS) to improve their business management skills.
- Young people benefit from easier access to the Internet and affordable technological devices.
- Young people, especially refugees and people with disabilities, receive capacity-building and growth training.
- Learners are linked to internships and on-the-job training.
