The African Leadership Group - Major African Initiative is a 10-year program that aims to train 2.4 million young people in Africa in technology skills by 2030, resulting in over one million graduates (70 percent young women); 50,000 entrepreneurs; and to enable at least 600,000 total young people to accesss work opportunities by 2030. ALX will expand its network to 70 hubs, prioritizing rural and hard-to-reach communities.
The program was deployed in Kenya, Rwanda, Mauritius, Senegal, Nigeria, South Africa, Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopia with plans to expand to Uganda, Ghana, Morocco, and Egypt.
