Expansion of Capacity Development Framework and Partner Shared Services

The Capacity Development Framework, led by Papyrus, is designed to strengthen the African institutions responsible for delivering 75 percent of Mastercard Foundation programs. Aligned with the Foundation’s Young Africa Works goal of enabling 30 million young people to access dignified and fulfilling work, the program was initially launched as a two-year initiative from 2023 to 2025 and has now been extended through 2026 to deepen its impact. Operating as a partner-shared service facility, it provides targeted training, coaching, and institutional support to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of local implementing partners.
