The Université Gaston Berger (UGB) is a higher education institution in Senegal created to meet the nation's demand for qualified professionals and contribute to the realization of employment policy.

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Gaston Berger aims:

To recruit and educate 1,000 young people from hard-to-reach communities in Senegal and Francophone Africa, with a specific focus on young women (70%), as well as refugees and displaced youth (10%) and young people with disabilities (9%).
Provide experiential learning in key academic programs relevant to Young Africa Works Senegal, including Digital, Health, Agriculture and Engineering.
