Partnership Focus
The PFPI tackles the mismatch between training and market demand, aiming to ensure equal access to fulfilling agricultural value chain jobs for young women and men in the region by:
• Building technical and business skills of young people in aquaculture practices.
• Developing a model centre of excellence through an initial labour market assessment.
• Rehabilitating, equipping, and operationalizing 14 specialized TVET institutions.
• Creating mechanisms for inclusive training.
• Supporting young people with academic and career guidance and transitioning them to work opportunities through various educational and vocational institutions.
