Muni University is a public multi-campus university in Uganda. It is one of the public universities and degree-awarding institutions in the country, licensed and supervised by the Uganda National Council for Higher Education.
Target Impact
To provide access to relevant and quality training and skilling to 100,000 refugee and host-community young people (70% refugees and 60% female).
Target: 100,000 refugee and host-community young people
Geographical location: 7 districts in west Nile, 3 in northern and 5 in Southwestern
Objectives:
Increased access to quality training and utilization of skills among young people
Increased enterprise growth and access to work among young people
Enhanced quality in delivery of youth friendly services, market relevant courses, and innovations

Young women and men will be enabled to access market relevant skills and utilize the acquired skills to start-up enterprises.

Young people will establish and digitize 1,700 Youth Savings and Loan Associations (YSLAs) through FinTechs/ digital saving platforms.

Collaboration
The Program will build the capacities of the 3 universities, local partners, and a refugee- led organization (YARID) to deliver the program collaboratively and effectively.
