WFP is the world’s largest humanitarian agency, saving lives in emergencies and using food assistance to build a pathway to peace. It works in over 120 countries and territories and assisted 152 million people in 2023 – 53 per cent of whom were women and girls.

Target Impact

Strengthening food systems to empower smallholder farmers and young people to address agricultural sector challenges by creating employment for 200,000 young people (70% female) through the modernisation of the agricultural sector, women empowerment, financial inclusion, education, and digital innovation.

Our Impact

33,000 young people are placed in work, 44% of whom are female.
