Gudie Leisure Farm (GLF) is a social enterprise transforming youth agripreneurs into proactive, planned, predictable, and profitable eco-entrepreneurs. GLF engages in poultry, cuniculture, aquaculture, piggery, horticulture, and agritourism in a zero-waste ecosystem. In partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, GLF is implementing a white meat value chain project. The mini-franchise agribusiness incubation model trains, incubates, and supports young business manager apprentices to develop enterprises along the white meat value chain.
Target Impact
116,100 young people acquire skills in market relevant, hands-on skills in the entire white meat value chain and develop enterprises along the value chain.

Geographical Location: 20 Districts – Masaka, Wakiso, Mubende, Kampala, Lwengo, Mukono, Nwoya, Arua, Gulu, Jinja, Kyotera, Namisindwa, Tororo, Soroti, Mbarara, Hoima, Isingiro, Kiryandongo, Kisoro, Kabale.

Formed 960 Parish Savings and Loan Associations with an average membership of 170 to enable access to financial services. These associations have built their financial credibility and are eligible to receive a loan of up to USD 200,000 from any financial institution.

Funding
Young people have been linked to other funding opportunities unlocked by the government including the Parish Development Model, Youth Livelihood, Emyoga, and Women Entrepreneurship funds.
Partnership Focus
Recruitment and incubation of youth agri-preneur champions at Gudie Incubation Centre Trainers.
Work with the incubated Youth Agri-preneur champions to train and incubate 112,500 youth in Parish Enterprise Learning Associations in white meat production.
Link 116,000 youth to business development services for enterprises development and growth (local feed producers, white meat farmers, transporters, vendors, Lead Firms and Financers)
Introducing Gudie model to 100,000 secondary school students through the agri-clubs in 20 implementing districts to attract youth to opportunities in agriculture and agribusiness.
