Target Impact
The Ghana1000 initiative is a one-year USD 247,000 program designed to augment Ghana’s existing National Service Scheme by incorporating iiAfrica’s Industry Immersion Program (IIP). This program is designed to equip Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) graduates with advanced training in data analytics and business intelligence, significantly improving their employability within the local business ecosystem. It also aims to address the challenge of underemployment among STEM graduates by enhancing their employability through targeted training in business, digital, and soft skills, and to foster industry engagement in young STEM talent recruitment.

Industry Immersion Africa (iiAfrica) is a pan-African organization that is registered in South Africa as a non-profit entity with Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) status. iiAfrica enhances the employability and entrepreneurial abilities of STEM graduates by strategically leveraging its collaborative partnerships with academic and industry stakeholders, thereby ensuring that their fellows are equipped to pursue successful careers.
