Before we scale EdTech across Africa, we need to ask ourselves a hard question: are we scaling what actually works or just what’s new?
Too often, investments prioritise technology over learning outcomes. Pilots multiply, but systems don’t evolve. Data exists, but not in ways decision-makers can use. And while innovation accelerates, coordination lags behind.
This month on #EdTechMondays Africa, we are diving into a critical conversation: what does it actually take to scale EdTech solutions that improve learning outcomes at a system level?
Panelists:
- George Werner, former Minister of Education, Liberia
- Verna Lalbeharie, Managing Director, Results for Development and Executive Director, EdTech Hub
- Grace Njoroge, Director of Digital Economies, Caribou Africa
