At the Katilu Irrigation Scheme, Vijana in Kilimobizz participant Selphine Akiru has built a growing agribusiness. She produces maize seed under contract for the Kenya Seed Company and serves as an aggregator of green grams for WFP’s home‑grown school meals programme. Beyond her farm, Selphine is committed to empowering young women by promoting financial inclusion and fostering a savings culture in her community.
